Zero Labs was founded in Los Angeles with a clear mission: to design and build advanced electric vehicles and mobility products that set a new standard for transportation, marine, commercial, and energy applications. Over the years, we helped create an entirely new automotive category, securing more than 80,000 order requests representing over $3.6 billion in demand. With limited resources but extraordinary teams, we delivered world-class electric vehicles recognized by major media and owned by global leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

Despite this progress, sustaining U.S. manufacturing became increasingly difficult. In late 2024, Zero Labs completed its last vehicle and ceased manufacturing operations due to sudden tariff changes, shifting trade policies, and the complete absence of domestic venture funding to scale early clean-tech startups. While global interest in our work continues to grow at double digits, U.S. investment has largely shifted toward intangible sectors. More than 95 percent of all AI, NFT, and crypto ventures have collectively lost nearly a trillion dollars in funding without meaningful revenue to support it, or any end in site

This site stands as both a record of what we built and a testament to what is possible when vision, design, and engineering excellence meet determination, even without large-scale support. Against all odds, we proved our market, customer base, and technology were viable. But no early-stage company can be expected to meet global demand through early sales revenue alone.

Zero Labs continues to receive inquiries about our vehicles and potential partnerships, yet the future of clean technology in the U.S. will depend on renewed investor commitment and supportive trade policy. Until that happens, this archive remains a proud reminder of what our team accomplished, a lasting example of how much the nation’s priorities have shifted away from building real things that can create real change.
